When written properly, your website copy resonates with customers and prospects, not just to the bots that crawl the web. Lynn will share her tips as a professional copywriter on how to research and prepare your copy, structure it for maximum effectiveness, and match different styles of copy to various purposes.
After a 23-year career with a directory publisher, Lynn founded Thompson Writing & Editing in 2003 and launched OldMaidCatLady.com, a retail site selling products for cats and cat lovers, in 2010. She authored the book An Author’s Guide to Online Marketing and the forthcoming The Feline CEO: How Following a Cat’s Lead Can Make You a Better Business Leader.
Lynn helps others tell their stories and speaks to groups about writing, marketing, and leadership. Her writing has won awards from the Florida Writers’ Association, the Cat Writers’ Association, and Promoting Outstanding Writers.
A member of the JOMM board, Lynn also serves on the board of the Beaches Division of the JAX Chamber. She is a member of Peter Shankman’s Shankminds mastermind group and a Life Member of the UF Alumni Association.
